Brendan Kane has only trained at Katai for just over three months. He began classes just before our last belt test (and therefore missed it). Since his first class, Brendan has shown true dedication to his martial arts training. He studied and practiced all of his white belt material, and earned a 'make-up belt test' to earn his yellow belt. As soon as he earned it, he was hungry for more. He immediately began training for his orange belt. Brendan always trains extra hard when he is in class, and always makes a good example for other students. Sensei and all of his instructors are very impressed with his hard work. Did I mention he's only 8? Well, for an 8 year old Martial Artist, he is consistently going above and beyond his training. You can catch Brendan at our next belt test Saturday May 5th earning his orange belt, and you can usually find him on the mats almost any day of the week you come in. |
